Spinks

Spinks is on a mission to push Electro and Breaks forward and tear down the walls between the two genres. After early releases on Germany's Doxa and Israel's Ak Duck labels as Dex Turner, he set up Buffalo Frequency in 2004. His sound is now supported by an impressive and varied list of DJs.

Spinks has recently performed as a live act and DJ in Japan, the Netherlands, Belgium, Malta, Israel and the UK. His most recent productions include a remix of Dark Vektor on Spain's Dona-Li Records and his latest EP on Buffalo Frequency, “21 Knockouts”.

In 2008, Spinks was a part of the team that launched WhoSampled.com, a community wesbite for sharing, exploring and discussing the use of samples in music.
